LEGO® Click Brick, Japan’s LEGO® Shop
LEGO® click brick is LEGO® Japan’s brand of shops for the recently popular LEGO® toys. LEGO® click brick offers all of the toys that you see in the LEGO® online shops as well as all the shops in the United States.
LEGO® click brick and the LEGO® brand ahs been known in Japan since the 1962, when the brick products were introduced into the Japanese market as children’s toys. And even though they are still dubbed children’s toys and are advertised as such, the LEGO® brand and the LEGO® click brick stores have been supported and bought by both young and adult fans of the toy.
The roots of LEGO® click brick started in Denmark, where Ole Kirk Christiansen a carpenter, first started the company, at this point which was the year 1932, the plastic LEGO® toys that we know didn’t exist yet. But in its place was Kirk Christiansen’s knack for making children’s toys out of wood. The company was later given its name LEGO® which comes from the Danish words Leg and Godt which means play well. Later when the owners looked at its Latin translation, it turned out to mean I put together, which was one of the influences of LEGO®’s now notorious knack for being put together to form differing sculptures and works.
LEGO® click brick wasn’t established until LEGO® Japan was established in 1992, before this LEGO® toys were sold as part of toy shops. Now LEGO® click brick is in Japan, featuring not only the toys available for sale, but also LEGO® sculptures, made for display. LEGO® Click brick also hosts a few LEGO® workshops on its toys as well as LEGO® creativity sessions, which aims to improve Japanese Children’s creativity as well as critical thinking.
And since 2005 is “The Year of LEGO®” according to LEGO® Japan, LEGO® click brick stores are hyping up for the challenge of enthusiastic buyers as well as new fans.
Among the things you can buy at LEGO® click brick stores, are the LEGO® Mindstorms. LEGO® Mindstorms at LEGO® click brick stores are as most people say about Japanese products, of quality, LEGO® Mindstorms help develop children’s critical thinking by interfacing with a computer, although LEGO® Mindstorms isn’t actually directly connected to a computer, the course for this toy is computer interactive and can therefore be used as an introduction to computer interface for children.
Another type of LEGO® toy that you can buy from LEGO® click brick would be the LEGO® Technic, which is made for a bit older customer base, mainly the 10 – 14 year old children with interests in technical building. LEGO® Technic is gear and battery operated and fully functional, it has moving parts and more complicated setups which make it more interesting for children who have overgrown the snap bricks of early LEGO® models. LEGO® click brick also offers exhibits of LEGO® Technic toys which may also catch the interest of the older customers. Although LEGO® really hasn’t paid much attention to its adult customer base, lots of adults Leo Technic interesting and if you don’t believe me, just drop by a LEGO® click brick store and take look.
Other products also sold at LEGO® click brick stores are the LEGO® shirts that have the LEGO® indicia and LEGO® products printed on them. These were just recently released in 2005.
