It was really inevitable that the LEGO® Company, founded in Billund, Denmark, would have found their way in building their own theme park. With their complete dedication to pleasing their customers, especially children, of any gender, where else could they make their mission more effective than in their very own amusement park?

Where is LEGO® Land?

Luckily for us LEGO® lovers, there are four branches of LEGO® Land. Unfortunately for those who live in other continents like Asia, Africa, Oceania and South and Central America, three of those LEGO® Land branches can be found in Europe. More specifically, LEGO® Land are situated at Billund, Denmark, the company’s original home, Germany and the United Kingdom. The last LEGO® Land branch can be found in the United States. For this article, we will only be discussing LEGO® Land in Billund, Denmark.

What can you find in LEGO® Land?

LEGO® Land is an amusement park filled with enjoyable rides, interesting, enlightening shows for people of all ages, building challenges and a lot, lot more. Naturally, LEGO® Land wouldn’t be LEGO® Land if it won’t afford you a glimpse of the best kind of LEGO® models --- ranging from the whimsical to the amazingly accurate.

Statoil Traffic School – In LEGO® Land, you don’t need to be of age to be able to drive. Children from 7 to 13 years old can get their driving license in the Statoil Traffic School. There, they’ll be learning all about driving in traffic. Children can also have fun as they try their hands on car washing and filling their cars up in the gas station. Nowhere can you get this kind of fun except in LEGO® Land!

Explore Land – Are your toddlers bemoaning the fact that they’re too little to enjoy life? Have no fear then because LEGO® Land built a village specially scaled for their sizes and heights where they can enjoy different rides and activities.

Miniland – So you think the House of Wax is wonderful, eh? Well, you haven’t seen LEGO® Land’s Miniland then, which features life like, animated and mind-blowing depictions of life in famous cities and regions.

Falck Fire Brigade – This LEGO® Land challenge was just opened this very year. Families can test their group strength as they race to pump water from a fire hose as fast as they can in order to save a “burning” building.

Are you worried about the safety of your children in LEGO® Land?

This is a common worry of most visitors when going to theme parks. Due to the sheer size of the place and crowd, families sometimes end up being separated from each other and children get lost. LEGO® Land, aware of this problem, has launched the Kidspotter Service. With a wristband attached to your kid, you’re always and only an SMS away from knowing the exact location of your child, wherever he is in the park!
