LEGO'S FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

Here they come the dreaded riders who called the apocalypse, within their mercy is the fate of all human race. But wait! That's what the ancient times say. The famous toy company who gave birth to constructive and analytical but enjoying childhood moments has again widened its range, this time going biblical with their rendition of the four horsemen.

The four LEGO® horsemen are creatively patterned with images depicted by the revelations. Based on the bible the four LEGO® horsemen come in four figures----war, famine, pestilence and death. According to the revelations, the four horsemen are the ones that came out of four seals during a period when God would put an end to the world. LEGO® presents these characters in a lighter mood with the four LEGO® horsemen. Each LEGO® horseman brought with them a specific disaster that man has to contend with.

According to the revelations, these four horsemen would usher the age of darkness. LEGO® presented each of the four horsemen with accessories that matched the description of the Bible. Their coming out into the world started when the seven seals broke.

The first of the four horsemen is Death. Cloaked traditionally in black, LEGO® presents Death riding a black horse, bareback carrying a pole arm instead of a scythe or a sickle to give a warrior effect instead of the traditional death thing. Here's the catch: as compared with the other three horsemen: he has no armor, which is logical. What can you do with Death? Kill him?

Next in line for the forces of evil, is Mr. LEGO® horseman Famine. Atop an ashen mount complete with disgusting and unimaginable greed, this arrogant, ruthless and gluttonous LEGO® horseman carries a golden chalice from which he will drink of the sorrows of men leaving them starving, shivering and grinding their teeth. This horseman boasts of rotting teeth, a breastplate, helm and cape.

And on the third door comes Pestilence, destructive as ever. LEGO® depicts this horseman as a bat-winged creature on top of a red horse carrying his weapon of mass destruction---the jar of pestilence from which he spreads pestilence fueled by his own breath, not to mention a mean-looking, mystery-filled staff, with just one stroke he can fill the world with terror that makes World War 1 look like a child's play.

The last of the four horsemen comes completely clad in fine armory and makes Ares cry like a baby. War himself floods the nation of men in tears and whines fill the skies mourning for the blood of fallen brethrens. This LEGO® horseman bears the standard of the beast, stricken by madness, he rides a red horse and ominously covered by dragons and we all know who it is when the Bible talks about bad omens and dragons.

LEGO®'s equation in making toys is composed of two things: education and enjoyment. The four horsemen may represent a dark chapter of our holy book but with the use of an open and critical mind, not to mention a good guiding explanation for younger minds, these LEGO® horsemen figures can serve as a good foundation for the creative and diverse thinking of the new generation. There are those who are looking for a unique inspiration when playing and building their collections and works of art.

The four LEGO® horsemen serve as a medium to fill in this search of newer and better fields to explore. For those open minds with a faithful heart, happy building and rebuilding in your quest to display the many figures your mind and heart can produce, just don't forget the difference between being in the side of good and evil.
